Lego let down

Batman should really pay more attention to his surroundings.

OVER ALL RATING 4.0

Hopefully gameplay with other heroes such as The Flash
and green lantern is better then gameplay with Batman And
Robin.
I found the demo of Lego Batman 2 I played to be somewhat fun and interesting.  From what I saw it had great controls, a great story, and great character design.  Still, it could have been a whole lot better.  There were many flaws. Combat was hard because after every punch Batman (or Robin) would pause for a second before the next punch.  Special attacks were hard to tackle as well, I didn't know which button to press in order to begin an attack.  One thing I think is both good and bad, is the fact that all of the characters talk.  I think that this game would be a complete and total failure if they didn't talk because if they didn't you would have no idea what was happening.  One of the great qualities of the previous lego games that is missing from this game is that the characters were able to let you know you what was happening without saying a word.  The demo I played only allowed me to play as Batman and Robin, so I hope that when the game comes out the gameplay with other super heroes is better.
Batman isn't the only DC super hero
appearing in this game.

The game over all was o.k., I think I'll have to wait until it comes out to determine if I'm going to buy it or not.  So if your not a huge DC super hero fan, you  probably shouldn't get this game.

Rumbling through Pokemon Rumble

Overall rating 7.7

I had never played a Pokemon game until I got the Pokemon Rumble demo for wii I was not expecting it to be very good, I have to say I was impressed.  when you start the game you see a pokemon sneak into the "Battle Royale" (a competition that all the most powerful pokemon enter in) you get to play as that pokemon but he is not powerful enough to win and you have to play levels to unlock better pokemon.  gameplay is fun you follow a path and meet other pokemon along the way when you defeat a powerful pokemon you get to unlock him, each pokemon has one attack and you can spend coins to unlock a second attack, the pokemon are rated on how powerful they are the highest one I encountered was one hundred eight and the lowest twenty three, only pokemon one one hundred can enter the Battle Royale, in the demo once you unlock a pokemon over one hundred the demo ends.  I really liked this game and would recommend it to anyone who likes video games.

Re-living the legend

OVER ALL RATING 9.0

The 3D version of the game
compared to the original version.
Players can also take a break from the action
and do things like fish.
The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time has been part of my life for many many years. So when the remake for the 3DS came out I simply HAD to buy it. The story is exactly the same as before. Ganon pretends to be loyal to the Hylian royal family, he follows Link to the Temple of Time to gain access to the sacred realm, obtains the Triforce of power, and his evil plans are later thwarted by Link and Zelda. There are many things gamers have to be exited about in this game, one of these things is the ability to replay bosses in Links dreams. In the Nintendo 64 version of the game, you can only play the bosses once (for my favorite boss Twinrova, I would get close to winning then die just so I could play them again!) in this game you can go to Links bed in his house and replay boss battles.  Another thing is the playability, players are able to equip 4 (5 including the ocarina) items, were as in the N64 version you can only hold 3 at a time. This makes the dreaded Water Temple so much easier because you can put on the iron boot by equipping it and pressing the button, in the N64 version you have to pause every time you want to put them on. The game also comes with a Master Quest Mode which can be unlocked after finishing the original quest. Side quest's were one of the few things that I was disappointed with. This goes for the N64 version of the game as well. There are only a few side quest's in the game such as getting the biggorons sword, trading mask's, and finding gold skulltula's.

The terrain of hyrule is absolutely spectacular.
All in all the game is just as good as the Nintendo64 version if not better. If you have a 3DS you absolutely need this game.
